Hi!

My name is Bogdan and I'm a pizza maker with 16 years of experience. Originally from Romania, now living in Switzerland after spending 10 years in Paris and then Verbier, I decided to treat myself by opening the 'Caractère' food truck.

I followed two pizza maker training courses:

In 2012, at the French Pizza School in Paris.

In 2023, at the Academia Pizzaioli in Italy.

Cooking has always been a passion of mine, ever since I was a child. Growing up in a family where cooking was at the heart of everything, I developed a deep love for authentic flavors and respect for the environment.

Beyond my pizza expertise, I'm a passionate advocate for quality, seasonal produce. I make a point of working with ingredients from local and regional producers to ensure honest and delicious cuisine.
